This is a demilled Group Industries BAR receiver chunk, cut through the front and left side.  It appears this was a finished receiver with all machine work done and to spec. There is some surface rust from storage but overall this might be the largest demilled section I've ever owned.  Group Industries were built from their own castings and went belly up in the 1990s.
